Summer Intern, 2015

I have studied different courses related to Bilingual Studies and Corporate Communication, which is a crucial foundation for my internship. For instance, the Bilingual Workshop for Internal Corporate Communication course has equipped me with an experience of organizing a program , presenting to the audience and handling Q&A instantly. In this experience I learnt to be well prepared for any enquiry that might be encountered and the way to respond to various stakeholders in an appropriate manner.

In addition, other courses such as parallel text drafting have strengthened the skills to write for specific stakeholders. In the bilingual context like Hong Kong, we always need to prepare bilingual texts for the audience with different cultural backgrounds. This course focused on skill of using the appropriate tonality in text drafting for different groups of target audience and how to convey the messages in the most effective way. BCC Internship help providing practical and useful skills to unleash our potential and equip students be the best we could.
